Project HSE Manager

Job description / Role

We are currently sourcing a Project HSE Manager for our Operations in Qatar.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of the Health, Safety and Environment systems to meet the requirements of OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001.
- Assist with the implementation of the HSE Strategy on the project.
- Lead and motivate the team.
- Ensure subordinates are prepared adequately before commencing any task.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with work.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and client Safety regulations.
- Undertake inspections & audits.
- Ensure environmental plan is complied with.
- Incident investigation & root cause analysis of accident/incident

Requirements

- Diploma in safety such as OSHA,NEBOSH,IOSH.
- Knowledge of OHSAS: 18001 and ISO 14001.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in construction industry of which at least 5 years’ experience as a HSE manager.
- Be medically fit, able to work at heights and within confined spaces over various work fronts.
- Must have the ability to lead and motivate the team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Computer Literate in MS Office.
