Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Project Manager’s primary responsibility will be to ensure that work put in place is executed per the Contract Documents and within the Schedule and Quality requirements set by the Owner. The ideal candidate will ensure that the design and build process works.

This will entail developing/ maintaining design and Construction Phase process and procedures, developing/monitoring the Quality Assurance Program, evaluating schedule progress, providing insightful review of change orders, leading Owner/Architect/Contractor meetings, conducting leadership meetings with executives, etc.

Requirements

The perfect candidate must be having advanced knowledge and long experience in high end finishes in hospitality industry with a general contractor.

- 18 or more years of experience in Vertical Design/Construction with a minimum of 10 years in the Hotel construction with high end finishing.
- Experience that includes renovation and significant ground-up new construction.
- Excellent understanding of Construction (e.g. means, methods, safety, scheduling, submittals, RFIs, change management, etc.).
- Proficient at conducting construction field reports, reviewing change proposals, and evaluating construction Pay Applications.
- Good understanding of building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
