The Project Manager will be responsible to draft, review or recommend any project management related documents as required and assist the client project team in delivery of Project Management requirements for project managed by the client.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

- Ensure and review project management compliance related to Projects
- Liaise with various internal teams and external stakeholders to effectively manage various Projects
- Lead planning and implementation of project
- Facilitate the definition of project scope and goals
- Define project tasks and resource requirements
- Develop full scale project plans
- Assemble and coordinate project staff
- Manage project budget
- Manage project resource allocation
- Plan and schedule project timelines
- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
- Provide direction and support to project team
- Quality assurance
- Strong presentation skills (creating and delivering)
- Ensure projects are moving forward
- Preparing presentations for workshops, management meetings, etc.
- Managing Senior Management Team meetings and strategic workshops
- Collaboration and communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Responsible for specific project delivery across all disciplines (technical, commercial, project controls (programme, planning, risk, systems compliance etc.)
- Provide support to the Client Project team where required on project management matters
- This position shall provide a lead project management role for delivery of a Project(s)

- Identify, develop and promote Programme and Project required project management polices
- Provide progress reports as and when required
- Attendance at relevant meetings

Requirements

Candidate Specification

Essential Candidate Requirements:

- University degree from a recognised University in an appropriate field such as, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Procurement or Construction Management or equivalent
- Minimum of 10 years post graduate experience with experience in major infrastructure projects or programmes; preference will be given to roads, aviation, structures or rail related experience
- Proven ability to perform in a management capacity and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are also required. In addition, must be knowledgeable of current technology and how it can be effectively utilised on the project
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office
- Must be a self-starter and have the ability to influence without formal client
- Should be ambitious and willing to take initiatives
- Demonstrable track record in the delivery of large multidisciplinary projects
- A "rounded profile", comfortable with strategic planning, risk management and/or change management analysis and commercial considerations (the successful candidate will also be able to mobilise people and teams and by their leadership skills and secure successful deliverables)
- In-depth knowledge of project management procedures
- Technically proficient in all aspects of project management such as technical, commercial, project controls (programme, planning, risk, systems compliance etc.
- Effective in building good working relationships within complex structures, both internally and with various project stakeholders
