Project Manager - Airport Projects - Qatar Duty Free - Doha

Qatar Duty Free – a shopping emporium at the heart of Qatar’s state-of-the-art Hamad International Airport where more than 40,000 square metres of combined retail and dining makes the airport a destination worth travelling for.

We are looking for a Project Manager to plan, execute, and finalise Hamad International Airport (HIA) projects accordingly to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects accordingly to plan.As Project Manager, you will also define HIA project objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

Your accountabilities will include:
- Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with Senior Management and stakeholders.
- Develop full-scale projects plans and associated communications documents.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stake holders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an on ongoing basis.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals

Requirements

You will have a minimum 7 years direct work experience in project management capacity, including all aspects of progress development and execution. You will have minimum 10 years experience in Retail Industry.

You have the ability to capture concepts; propose ideas and present plans and ideas for end-user requirements; Excellent time management, planning and organisational capabilities.

Your ability to effectively brainstorm and catalyse creative ideas generation will be important for this role. Your strong analytical skills with creative and strategic approach to problem-solving, excellent communication and presentation skills and strong implementation drive will allow you to perform well in this job.
