Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client is a leading construction company operating for more than 20 years and specializing in architectural interior fit out for a broad range of projects such as Airports, 5 star Hotels, Retail developments and Universities. Their team consists of more than a 120 engineers and architects, 80 administrative employees and more than 2,500 technical and site personnel.

They are currently looking to hire Project Managers with fit-out experience in Qatar for Railway station projects.

Responsibilities:
- Regular reporting to the consultant and client with regards to the program schedule.
- Ensuring that the quality of the fit-out/finishes are as per the agreed specification/quality standards.
- Oversee the construction and delivery through to project completion
- Report to the Project Director regarding schedule, quality and budget.
- Enforce and maintain excellent construction standards throughout an already established team
- Ability to resolve design issues and communicate effectively with consultants.
- Offer mentoring and development for junior staff.

Requirements

- 15-20 years post graduate experience
- BS degree in related field
- Project management experience in the Middle East is essential
- Experience in high-end fit-outs is essential
- Contracting background
- Good experience of finishing Projects.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Hands on contractor’s Project or Construction Manager.
