Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Will be in-charge of execution of the project assigned.
- Manage the construction of the project in accordance with the contract in the most efficient and profitable manner taking particular care of client requirements and company’s sub-contractors, and suppliers’ interest, and leading the site staff to form a cohesive unit resolved to a common purpose.
- To monitor, co-ordinate and evaluate the ‘work-progress’ and take corrective / preventive actions if the project is not moving as per the ‘project schedule’, or if there is a quality complaint from the customer.
- Resolve with the client all issues related to the effective performance and construction of the project.
- To co-ordinate with other related divisions / departments for the efficient and effective functioning of the project during its entire tenure.
- Review the project procedures in accordance with the company quality system and the project requirements and ensure their implementation. Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations.
- Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
- Ensure that sub-contractors’ staff is aware and fully implement the quality system on site, including responsibility for ensuring quality awareness among their personnel.
- Ensure that all site personnel are aware of their responsibilities with regard to the quality system.
- Ensure that statutory health and safe regulations and those contained in the company safety manual are observed at all times and that safety on site is maintained at high standard.
- Ensure that resources are allocated in a manner to achieve the agreed construction plan and to the correct standard.
- Ensure that, where necessary, corrective action is taken to maintain the quality standards required by the company and specification.
- Determine labor requirements and dispatch workers to construction sites.
- Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients representing the owner or developer.
- Prepare reports as required e.g. weekly progress reports, materials requisition, site diaries.
- Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Arch or ID.
- PMP certification.
- At least 15+ years of experience.
- Fit-out/Interiors experience in hospitality and 5* hotels is a must.
- Construction technology and methods(including standards, codes and specifications)
