Job description / Role
Project Manager - Treasury Management Solutions - Qatar
* Manage large transformational strategic projects for the Bank. These key initiatives are expected to greatly enhance Bank's Product Capabilities and therefore have significant impact on Bank's top and bottom lines
* Technical Project/Program Management having relevant experience in implementation of Misys Kondor+ treasury management solution (front office, middle office and back-office).
* Estimation, Risk Management, Solution Review, Resource Planning
* Cost and Schedule Management
* Vendor Management
* Process Compliance
* Stakeholder Management (Business, IT, Risk, Security, Vendor)
Major areas of responsibility:
* Project planning, ensuring the project has well defined business case, charter, scope, requirements, deliverables
* Effective execution of the program, from scope, schedule and quality. Responsible for Risk Management, Schedule management, Milestones and Dependencies Management.
Ensure following compliances:
* Process
* Security
* Legal
* Enterprise Architecture
* Stakeholder Management
* Business
* PSC
* Vendor
* Project Team
* Enterprise Architecture, Security, Infra, Compliance
* Strict adherence to PMO framework and full compliances with PMO processes.
* Timely issuance of progress reports and on ad-hoc basis.
* Responsible for the maintenance of all project documentation, such as project charters, project plans and the Risks/ Issues list.
* Responsible for the maintenance of the Project documentation in the SharePoint portal.
* Should have sufficient technical know-how to understand the interactions of the various systems that make up the Bank's information systems environment and its integration with Treasury Management System (Kondor+)
* Must be able to liaison with respective technical unit(s) to establish the "impact of change" from the introduction of new software versions or new product.
* Must be able to prepare project status update presentations and present to senior management and project stakeholders on need basis
Requirements
* Over all 10-15 years of IT project management with 6+ years (recent) in banking domain (treasury). Regional experience useful but not mandatory
* At least two full life cycle implementation of Misys Kondor+ as a Project Manager
* Previous experience in Business analysis will be considered a huge plus
* Experience in leading large initiatives within Bank
* Misys Kondor+ Experience is a must. No candidates will be considered without Kondor+ experience
* Treasury Operations experience desired
* Financial accounting for Treasury Products a plus
* Technical awareness about Data Flows, ETL and DWa plus
Skills & Experience
* Strong leadership skills
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
* Change management
* Good handle on Project Planning tools such as Microsoft Project. MS Excel, Visio, Power Point
* Excellent banking domain knowledge in Treasury
