Project Operations Manager

Job description / Role

We are urgently looking for a Project Operations Manager to work for one of our most important Consultancy firms in Qatar. It is for the construction of the metro of Doha City (Qatar)

Your responsibilities would be:
- Working closely with key internal stakeholders in ensuring the delivery of design, construction and maintenance facilities with an Operational perspective
- Liaise with SOC during detailed design and with the future operator in preparation to T&C / Trial Ops, to prepare the handover and assist the operator to gradually get knowledge and take ownership of the system
- Identifying key threats to Operational Handover of the Railway and ensuring that all threats have mitigations and mitigation owners
- Reviewing all aspects of PMCS technical delivery and provide practical solutions from operational point of vie
- Reviewing PMCS objectives against emerging requirements and ensuring that QR’s overall operational Objectives are addressed
- Ensure the coherence between RAM criteria and maintenance policy and pla
- Validate Depot concept design
- Elaborate the first operation organization according to the design
- Validate the safety of the systems and mitigate the risks by operating measures

Requirements

- At least 20 years of overall experience
- At least 10 years of rail system experience
- Minimum 5 years of similar experience
- Mandatory Metro Experience
- At least a Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent holder
