Employment: Full Time

Project Sales - Art Products - 15,000QAR plus car and commission

This division is the corporate head for three very different ART brands offering a low price, mid to high and very high price range.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to join a creative and passionate team who share a love for art. We are launching a well-established European brand to the region. They focus on luxury and up-market photography in limited edition signed runs.

This makes the art not only special to see and own but also a financial investment to own. They target B2B and B2C and needs a strong and talented Project Sales Executive/Manager to lead the project sales

Your responsibilities will include:

Contribution to targets of the company
- Generate sales through new customer acquisition and retention
- Increase of brand awareness with target market
- Being an ambassador for the portfolio of brands they are representing

Main Responsibilities
- Business develop/cold call the Qatar projects market
- Compile corporate presentations/sales pitches - Create the quotations
- Negotiate deals with client to close the deal
- Collect all funds - manage debtors
- Cultivate relationships with future buyers/influencers

Tasks and Duties
- Business develop/cold call the Qatar projects market
- (hotels, restaurants, commercial establishments, corporate, interior design, real estate) B2B sector
- Establish who are decision makers
- Secure sales meetings
- Present the company and product portfolio that you represent
- Create a database of potential clients/projects
- Follow up any sales leads - submit written report after contact

Prepare all sales materials and Quotations
- Develop own sales tools - create electronic presentation that can be sent and presented face to face
- Update the corporate profile to reflect latest jobs
- Send to clients or present in person as required
- Conduct on site visits with client - manage gallery/showroom viewings for specific products
- Create and compile quotations - liaise with brand managers and Finance to know permitted discounts based on volume and profitability and stock levels.

Close the sale
- Do all meeting/viewing follow up
- Chase after quotations
- Negotiate on final pricing and delivery to secure the sale
- Raise invoice
- Collect funds - manage debtors report - work with Finance

Cultivate future B2B relationships and key influencers
- Understand about new projects being decided
- Know who are key interior designers/home stylists/architects to develop long standing relationships with?

Administration:
- Create your own client database - cold warm - keep it up to date
- Create a call cycle and discuss with line manager
- Prepare all own quotations and presentations - there is no admin support
- Prepare pricing matrix - liaise with Brand Managers and Finance for final approval.
- Research and arrange own shipping - liaise with logistics and brand manager of each business for best rates.
- To be based in the market place with a virtual office in one of the art galleries.

Requirements

- At least 3 years’ experience in generating sales leads and closing the deals.
- Strong working knowledge of the Qatar project market is nice to have, must have from the GCC as a minimum.
- Strong communication skills written and verbal - corresponding by mail
- Able to listen to client needs and integrate this into the sales presentation
- Creative thinker - able to visualize product in a place - have a consultative approach to sales
- Happy and experienced in pure cold calling - not an order taker.
- Approachable, friendly, flexible, very hard working.
- Attention to detail, always follows up, has a natural ability to remember names and faces.
- Flexible in the mindset when presenting the different products to the client from high end to mass market and medium limited edition.
- Open-mindedness, pleasant and elegant appearance
- Target-oriented very sales driven, a hands-on attitude
- Can make a plan and make the plan happen
- Knowledge of Arabic is not a MUST but would be a big PLUS
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
- IT knowledge: MS Office (outlook, power point, excel), Mac
- Must be able to drive with own car
- Willing to travel if required to other GCC countries
- Often required to work longer hours to meet clients
