QA/QC Manager
Qatar
The Business:
* One of the global leaders in the Testing, Inspection & Certification sector.
* They are looking to hire a QA/QC Manager to be seconded in to Oxy in Qatar. This is initially a 6 months contract, with the option to extend.
Job Responsibilities:
* Concrete specification review and concrete mixture proportioning,
* Concrete constituent materials, characteristics and effects on concrete properties,
* Fresh and hardened concrete properties,
* Durability of concrete,
* Production and delivery of Ready Mixed Concrete (RMC) large and small production,
* Handling, placing and curing of concrete,
* Specifying and evaluating of concrete strength,
* Testing of concrete and its constituents
* Quality control procedures and statistical analysis,
* Hot weather concreting,
* Troubleshooting concrete problems
Salary & Benefits are negotiable based on skills and experience. This is a single status assignment with Flights, VISA & Medical provided. The contract is initially for 6 months with the option to extend.
Requirements
Candidate Criteria:
* Bachelors’ Degree in Civil Engineering from a Western University.
* Strong technical understanding of industrial concrete, especially relating to quality assurance and quality control.
* Lead Auditor Certificate.
* 12 years professional experience in quality assurance and quality control.
* 3 years international experience, ideally Middle East.
