QAQC Manager - Qatar - Multi-billion Dollar Resort Project - Building

This excellent opportunity is for a QAQC Manager to join a leading contracting company involved in large-scale build and infrastructure projects within the region.
Our client are looking for an experienced QAQC Manager to join their team working on a multi-billion dollar hotel and resort projects. The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following duties and responsibilities:
DUTIES:
- Developing and implementing the QA/QC Management System at site
- Verifying that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards
- Participating in external and internal audits
- Monitoring the implementation of the approved site QC plan
- Coordinating and heading up weekly QA/QC meetings with the Sub-contractors as well as all relevant QC personnel
- Coordinating with the Construction Manager in regards to all quality issues
- Control all non-conformance reports and undertake remedial action
Requirements
- Western Educated
- BSc in Civil Engineering
- 15+ years QAQC experience in construction
- 5+ years of GCC experience
- Previous experience working on large scale residential/commercial projects
Client offers a competitive salary of 45,000 QAR + Medical + Flights
