Quantity Surveyor

Job description / Role

A reputable Trading and Contracting Company in Qatar is in urgent need of Quantity Surveyor.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- To ensure that construction costs and production are managed as efficiently as possible.
- Managing the Finances for any kind of construction projects
- Resolves disputes between contracting parties.
- Prepares detailed estimates to ensure the budget is sufficient for each stage of construction.
- Studies the architect's and engineer's plans, identifies the costs involved, and then sets an overall estimated budget for the project.
- Assess cost effects when changes to the project occur, such as delays.

Requirements

- Bachelors Degree in civil engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience.
- Good knowledge of construction methods and materials.
- Budget handling skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
- A Team player.
