Quantity Surveyor (Consultancy)

Client is a Consultancy who is currently working on numerous build and infrastructure projects in Doha and Lusail City in Qatar. They are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor with experience in both infrastructure and high-rise mixed use developments or stadium build experience and ideally have MRICS. You also must have a full command of the English language and must have a QS Degree.

Main responsibilities
- preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the client;
- undertaking cost analysis;
- assisting in establishing a client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies;
- performing risk, value management and cost control;
- identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks;
- preparing and analysing costings for tenders;
- providing advice on contractual claims;
- analysing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports;
- valuing completed work and arranging payments;
- maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use;

Requirements

- Bsc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying
- MRICS
- Strong experience in a QS role with a consultancy or similar relevant experience.
- Fully qualified with a degree in Quantity Surveying
- Highly motivated, driven with ability to work individually or part of a team.
- Flexible and positive approach
