Job description / Role
Leap29 is currently working with a Government Authority in Qatar who require a Rail and Metro Expert. The client is responsible for the delivery of the major infrastructure in Qatar, including rail, metro, highway and expressways. With over US$20 Billion in projects to deliver before 2022, this is an excellent opportunity to work on flagship projects in a stable economic environment. Responsibilities for the Rail and Metro Expert include but not limited to;
- Lead the review of the plans of the railway facilities in regards to urban integration
- Highlight and follow up issues affecting the design, construction and operation of the railway
- Represent the government authority at senior stakeholder meetings
- Management of the rail team and implement appropriate recruitment levels
- Provide technical expertise to identify and resolve issues
Requirements
- Able to attend an interview in London
- BSc/BEng or equivalent in relevant field
- A minimum of 12 years’ experience
- Proven track record in project management, design management roles on transportation projects
- Experience of working on new build metro projects for start to finish
- Proven success of delivering projects involving multiple stakeholders
Please note that all interviews will be held in London, so candidates must be able at to attended interview if successful.
