Rail / Metro Power / Traction Engineer for Stations Control

Job description / Role

We are in urgent need of a Power / Traction Engineer with extensive experience in the Metro, Rail sector for major Metro projects in Qatar.

The Power Engineer Stations will have the following responsibilities:
- Review the contractor’s design for station/non-traction power supply works at stations, depots and wayside; including normal, generator and UPS power supply works.
- Provide inputs for interface management (with specific reference to civil).
- Monitor progress of relevant design and adherence to requirements.
- Review method statements for installation and their applications at site.
- Supervise during Testing and Commissioning.

Requirements

Power / Traction Engineer with extensive experience in Rail Metro projects. Unmanned Metro experience would be a plus.

The qualified professional must:
- Have at least 10 years overall experience
- Have at least 5 years of similar experience
- Have Metro experience
- Be a B.Sc, BEng, BA or Equivalent holder Engineer Stations
