Regional Marketing Manager - Eastern Europe - Qatar Airways - Doha

In this role, you will be responsible for cascading corporate marketing policies and strategies to the region and local markets within the assigned region so as to deliver consistent, seamless an d carefully targeted marketing programmes through the outstations. You will ensure continuous professionalisation of the marketing function and will develop well-articulated annual marketing plans per the local market. You will also initiate and coordinate marketing initiatives between head office and the local markets so as to deliver targeted marketing programs resulting into a consistently improved market position for QR.

Specific accountabilities include:
- Developing, implementing and controlling integral marketing plans contributing to the commercial results of the region
- Evaluating all potential market opportunities and threats and providing recommendations
- Working with all stations in the region to help build the QR brand and maintain brand consistency, on all communications
- Ensuring loyalty program and ecommerce strategies are deployed according to agreed and orchestrated marketing strategies
- Coordinating annual marketing plan and budget in relationship with central marketing and the local station

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a relevant bachelors degree combined with seven years of experience in a similar capacity.

Exposure to the travel and/or airline industry would be well regarded. Knowledge of brand or trade marketing, ecommerce and digital marketing strategies and good numerical ability to calculate ROI is required.

You will be an exceptional communicator with sound relationship building and project management capability. Fluency (written and spoken) in English is a requirement for this role.
