Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This role will coordinate various projects to grow the usage of the Group’s International banking products in line with corporate initiatives.

This role will be assisting the Head of International Global Operations Support in managing the provision of International support services for the Group’s entities in line with the Strategy of Management ensuring adherence to the Service Level Agreement (SLA) ensuring safe custody of all original customer documentation pertaining to the Group’s International operations.

Role Description:
- You will ensure implementation of Group-wide methods and controls that relate to electronic banking International (Conventional & Islamic) including, but not limited to, the Group’s internally driven card products, ATM network management, merchant credit card processing,; Acquiring ;Phone Banking; Internet Banking ;S.M.S ; Corporate Cards Management and stored value cards. Ensure that processes are sound and risks are appropriately mitigated in addition to all available and approved Islamic Products
- You will coordinate with the Internal Audit and Group Compliance departments to develop audit plans for branches that have a hand in electronic banking (Conventional & Islamic) related processes.
- You will support the electronic banking projects (Conventional & Islamic) for various corporate initiatives including acquisition conversions, branch/ ATM network changes, new products/ services, and product enhancements.
- You will escalate issues on stability of systems and applications associated with electronic banking transaction processing (Conventional & Islamic). Review trends and determine what changes may be necessary to correct system issues or enhance processing.
- You will report fraud detection and investigation. Establish reporting requirements to look for trends in suspicious transaction activity (Conventional & Islamic) and take action to mitigate fraud risk and customer impact as much as possible.
- You will ensure direct oversight of high volume activity, (Conventional & Islamic) consistently complex issues and/ or high level risk and exposure items that have a significant impact on the achievement of the objectives of the department and potentially the International Operations Department.

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or any other related fields. MBA is a plus.

12 to 15 years experience of Banking Operations experience of which at least 5 years will be managing Conventional & Islamic International Operations.
