The British Council Qatar has a dynamic and growing English language learning centre with well over a thousand adult and young learner students per term. Would you like to join our diverse and friendly team?

We are recruiting a Teaching Centre Registrations Manager. We are looking for an experienced, skilled and dedicated person who will oversee the student registrations for the British Council in Qatar and manage Teaching Centre financial and customer data to strict standards.

This includes control of the British Council’s online student registration system, effective management of student registration processes, and responsibility for reconciling / controlling Teaching Centre income on a termly basis.

It also includes line managing a small team and working to support the growth of the Qatar TC operation through participation in strategic planning, organising marketing data collection, and ensuring very high standards in processes and customer care.

Requirements

Applicants should have administrative experience and be able to demonstrate their ability to consistently and accurately complete complex financial tasks to strict deadlines. Experience of administration in an educational context is desirable.

Applicants should also have experience in dealing with the public. Candidates must have completed their secondary education as a minimum and must also possess the following skills;

- A good level of English (B2 / IELTS 6.5)
- Excellent spoken and written Arabic
- Planning and organising
- Managing finance and resources
- Managing risk
- Analysing data and problems
- Managing people
- Commercial and business development
- Using technology
