Resident Engineer

Job description / Role

Kentz, a member of the SNC-Lavalin Group, is currently recruiting a Resident Engineer for a Qatar based project. The project is an upgrade and extension of the sewerage infrastructure, includes the Main Trunk Sewer and a Terminal Pump Station. The Main Trunk Sewer will be constructed using three closed-face Tunnel Boring Machines.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate specialized activities associated with the Main Trunk Sewer, Terminal Pump Station and TBM's
- Lead in the formulation of advanced technical concepts
- Provide specialized services in support of project requirements
- Independently perform highly complex assignments
- Act as the Engineer's representative to supervise works

Requirements

- BSc / Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent
- Preference will be given to a Registered / Professional Engineer
- Must have 1 minimum of 14 years' experience, 7 of those years must be in a similar role
- Must have a background in sewerage infrastructure
- Previous experience working in the Middle East advantageous
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
