Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Support IA department in providing objective assurance to the MD & CEO and Executive Committee that the ERM Framework is operating effectively;
• Provide assurance on management of those risks classified as ‘key’ or “High business risks”, including the effectiveness of the controls, identified treatment plans by various departments.
• Provide assurance on reliable and appropriate assessment of risks and reporting of risk and control status by evaluating the reporting of key risks.
• Communicate on a monthly and quarterly basis with all departments and divisions and obtain details on top Risks relevant to respective departments.
• Assist in development of Quarterly risk assurance review reports
• Provide assistance in coordinating, monitoring and periodic review of submitted Risk Input forms;
• Support Departments/Projects as they work to identify the best way to mitigate a risk;
• Recommend corrective action and suggest improvement as applicable
• Review effectiveness of controls and treatment plans identified
• Monitor timely implementation of the identified treatment plans and other action.
• Provide on-going advice and support to staff at all levels in development of appropriate knowledge of risk and fostering a positive risk culture;
• Facilitate workshops to assist in promoting the development of a common language, framework and understanding of risks and controls.
• Foster a working environment that promotes audit and risk learning culture consistent with organization objectives and values, including the training and development of staff

Requirements

• Professional / Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering and or Enterprise Risk Management of related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 to 12 years’ experience in a technical functional domain in either Rail transportation, aviation, healthcare or road infrastructure sector of which a minimum of 4 years working in an enterprise or risk management field
• CERA, CRM, PRM RIMS, CRMA or other relevant ISO 3100 Enterprise Risk Management would be preferable
