Risk Manager

Job description / Role

Leading Project Management Consultancy require a Risk Manager to join the team in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and actively managing the risk management process.

This will include quantitative risk analysis for a portfolio of clients.

Requirements

- Extensive experience managing all aspects of risk across major building and infrastructure programmes.
- Proven experience in setting up and managing teams in the application of innovative risk management techniques in a Programme Management Office (PMO), PMCM and/or major programme environment, implementing risk management in an integrated manner with other project controls disciplines.
- Ability to prepare and deliver high level risk presentations
- Exceptional written and spoken English.
- Ability to work within programme team and lead risk function
- Ability to coordinate risk reports from project managers and feed risk profile in programme reporting dashboards.
- The candidate must be familiar with relevant risk analysis software I
- A degree in a relevant subject ie engineering
- A solid background in risk management within an engineering / construction environment
- Should be able to mobilise quickly
- Experience in the Middle East is an advantage
