Employment: Full Time

The Risk Officer (RO) leads the company Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) process and as such, facilitates the execution of ERM and maintains the infrastructure, supporting Management and the Board.

Responsible for establishing and communicating the company ERM vision. Assists Senior Management in communicating the function of ERM throughout the business. Responsible for the establishment and maintenance of the ERM structure within the organisation. Integrates Risk Management with the strategic management process.

- Provides independent view about business plans.
- Advise on strategy risk control to mitigate some of the downside exposure that present potential obstacle to any company proposal.
- Develops and communicates ERM Policies identifying risk ownership gaps.
- Assists with the development of action plans to address identified risks. Monitors activity levels designed to impact gaps.
- Monitor the Enterprise critical risks.
- Establishes, communicates and facilitates the use of appropriate ERM methodologies, tools and techniques. Establishes and follow up an appropriate framework to facilitate the collection, analysis of risk management data information and knowledge.
- Implement appropriate risk reporting to the Board, Audit Committee and Senior Management.
- Develop measurement methodology and monitoring methods which reflect the ERM performance. Support the reporting and assists board in with capital and resources allocation decisions.

Requirements

- 10 - 15 years of experience in the ERM field most latterly at a senior level.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
