Job description / Role
The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team to strengthen implementation of the National Road Safety Strategy.
This will include technical direction and guidance on various road safety management aspects, including strategy implementation, as well as the evaluation of the current NRSS, conduct midterm review and enhance efficiency of the current periodical progress report.
Requirements
* A PhD or MSc degree in civil engineering, road safety or transport from an accredited university
* 20 + years of post graduate experience
* Solid background in various road safety issues, traffic, roads, urbanization, information systems
* Experience in implementation of an efficient and integrated national strategy
* Proficiency in computer and software applications
* Previous Middle East experience would be an advantage
* Strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills, and record of technical publications
* Previous experience working with a government organisation
