Job description / Role
Safety Administrator / Program Admin and Support

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Gathers statistics and general data; reviews and combines this information into established reports for use within and outside the unit. May develop new reports or revise existing reports, as directed. Distributes reports as directed by immediate supervisor.
- Provides information, instructions, training to employees.
- Acquaintance and full compliance with responsibilities in terms of the health & safety rules & regulations.
- Ensures that health and safety inspections as required are being implemented and maintained.
- Ensures that task hazard identification and analysis are conducted.
- Ensures that statutory health and safety inspections are conducted. If required, employees may be assigned to assist in conducting such inspections.
- Ensures that rules, procedures, symbolic signs and instructions are being enforced to ensure compliance.
- Ensures that all subordinates and anyone else in the area of responsibility are conversant with the hazards in that area and with the precautionary measures to eliminate those hazards.
Requirements
- Minimum A level or higher academic education.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in office administration in a construction environment.
- Good knowledge of international safety standards and procedures.
- Knowledge in basic safety training is preferred.
- Knowledge of document control is an advantage.
- Good written and oral communication, organizational, coordination & planing skills.
- Proper knowledge of management & administrative functions is a must.
