Safety Officer

Job description / Role

Contracting company in Qatar is looking for a Safety officer for its batching plant. Role is reporting to the Head of Safety.

Safety Personnel for Batching Plant should be proficient in:
- Hazard communication
- Lockout/tagout
- Confined spaces
- Respiratory protection
- Guarding floor & wall openings and holes
- Electrical wiring methods
- Noise exposure
- Forklifts, Crane, Silo
- Electrical systems design
- Machine guarding
- Work at Height
- Welding/Hot work
- Falling Objects from Conveyor belt system, elevators or concrete block stacking equipment

Chemical Handling:
Storing, using and disposing

Vehicle Safety:
Proper traffic management plan if not done lead to accidents/crushing injuries

Requirements

- NEBOSH IGC
- Work experience in Batching Plant / Ready mix
- Must have 3-7 years of Qatar work experience.
