Sales Manager - Qatar

An established Qatari holding group is seeking a Sales Manager to join the Industrial Bakery trading division in Qatar. Reporting to the General Manager, this individual will be responsible for implementing, managing, and continuously developing the commercial sales plan for the company.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Participating in the creation and implementation of the Sales Business Plan, achieving the targets and objectives set and agreed with the General Manager.
* Managing the sales efforts hands-on, including on-site and off-site meetings with sales leads, assistance in sales prospecting, attending networking events and aggressively seeking sales leads, staffing trade shows, and more.
* Creating own management plan to manage sales executives with clearly defined tasks and results and control measurements.
* Liaising closely with all stakeholders to ensure company has a strong commercial focus in all areas of operations.
* Negotiating and initiating contracts with customers for sale of products and services, and monitoring established contracts to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Developing potential customer lists to develop new sales opportunities using available information and through market research.
* Complete management responsibility for sales consultants including administrative functions such as order processing.
* Supervising sales executives in sales contact, maintenance, and sales closing functions.
* Identifying logistical requirements for delivery of assigned products and services.
* Ascertaining advertising sources of all leads and sales to work with the General Manager to reallocate advertising spending appropriately to increase lead volume and quality.
* Developing and supervising the preparation and delivery of sales materials such as newsletters, brochures etc.
* Developing in-house solutions for end-user training requirements.
* Liaising with the Service Department for technical support.
* Ensuring Best Practices are used throughout the Sales Department, including strict adherence to systems and procedures.

Requirements

* Degree (or equivalent) in Management, Business, Economics or related fields
* Minimum of 5 years' work experience in a related function i.e Industrial Kitchen and Bakery Equipment Sales, with demonstrable track record in sales and management of a sales team.
* Industry experience is much preferred but not specifically required. Middle East Sales experience is a must.
