Security Agent - Recruitment Drive in Bombay - Qatar Airways - Doha

Your responsibility as a Security Agent is to ensure the security performance standards of Qatar Airways staff and contractors to meet the specifications to protect Qatar Airways property and facilities against unlawful interference, theft and damage. You will work in three distinct areas; Terminal, Ramp and CCTV, the job holder will ordinarily be assigned to one area and developed accordingly. They ensure basic security compliance within an airport environment and in line with the security program. You will be responsible to perform travel document checks and security procedures at Doha Airport to avoid fines being imposed by immigration authorities for inadequately documented passengers.

You will maintain regular contact with immigration authorities’ contractors and customers of Qatar Airways to ensure levels of protection and services are maintained at the highest standards to protect revenue. You will ensure the safety and security of QR aircraft and basic accurate reporting both orally and writing. You will also be responsible in conducting drug and alcohol tests and carry out of search policy as authorized and escort deportees and disruptive passengers as required.

You will monitor CCTV, conduct security patrols, valuable and vulnerable cargo and weapon escorts, carry out aircraft searchers and guard aircraft and other duties and responsibilities as requested by the management.

Requirements

You should have a High School Diploma or equivalent education certificate with minimum of 2 years in a Security handling environment. You should have sound knowledge of MS Office applications and good working knowledge of general security operations. You should be able to write and speak fluently in English.
