Security Manager - AFGRE - Doha Festival City - Doha, Qatar

The purpose of this role is to assume responsibility for and ensure the efficient operation of Security, Life Safety, Crisis Response/Preparedness, Traffic management etc. ensuring that all assets are maintained and security costs are budgeted annually and are adhered to.

The incumbent will be responsible for the following cores:

Security Measures:
- The role of a Security Manager of an organization or facility is a combination of Security Consultant & Security Advisor. He is totally responsible for ensuring the security of the personnel, material/equipment and information of an organization from physical assault, fraud, industrial espionage/sabotage, robbery and arson by competitors, scamsters or terrorists.

Event Management:
- To plan & manage Traffic, Security, Parking execution during events.
- Coordination with City Management, Police, Civil Defence.
- Confirm monthly security attendance
- Ensure that mall security strategy and major retailers are inline at all time.
- Regular follow ups on incidents preventative actions
- Prepare analysis reports on incidents within the mall
- Monitor Vandalism and conditions resulting in theft, fire and any major leaks
- In charge of up keeping the crises management matrix
- Liaison with civil defence
- Liaison with Doha Police

Traffic Management:
- Traffic signage’s review and up keep of them
- Assist marketing and speciality leasing with traffic management
- Safety surveys of roads and parking’s
- Manage contractors heavy vehicle access point and staff entry points
- Coordination with local authorities for roads and transport and city traffic management team
- Traffic accidents
- Coordination with Doha Police traffic department
- Abandoned vehicles
- Maintain a Risk awareness and centre risk registers for reporting

Reporting: Prepare routine and adhoc reports, with the objective of keeping the management informed about all issues relating to operations of mall and taking necessary action thereof.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with 5-7 years of experience in this field. Someone who has already worked as a Security Manager would be an ideal fit.

- Possesses strong leadership good communication skills and Hands-on Experience in security
- Ability to work independently and to take emergent decisions.
- Should have undergone appropriate training in Senior Security Management.
- Knowledge of the Crime control process disorder control and Incident & Emergency Management experience
- Sound knowledge of legislation
- Exposure to large scale CCTV security networks
- Good relationships with local security / Police, and government regulators.
- Preferably is a former member of National Security, Police Force or Federal Agent or CID
