Senior BMS (Building Management Systems) Engineer

Required to join an international consultancy working on the airport project in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Supervising the BMS installation works at the construction sites.
• Ensuring that all BMS works are executed according to the applicable standards/codes, design documents and drawings in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner meeting quality standards and project schedule requirements.
• Coordinating with the BMS design team for resolving all pending technical matters/issues and reviewing the BMS contractor’s/vendors material submittals and shop drawings.
• Applicants should meet the following criteria
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the design, installation, supervision and commissioning of medium to large scale Building Management Systems and Integrated Building Management Systems. Professional registration is desirable.
• Wide knowledge of the BMS latest technologies and developments in ASHRAE’s Standard 135: BACnet™
• Diversified hands on experience in supervising the installation, start-up/commissioning and handing over of complex building management systems and integrations with the other ELV systems is a must.
• Wide experience in the commissioning of HVAC applications and district cooling plants, electrical and building services systems is a must.
• Exposure to other ELV like Fire Alarm Systems, Access Control Systems, Lighting Control Systems and Special Airport Systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with the basic IT requirements and communication networks like Ethernet, Profibus and Modbus experience are desirable.
