Job description / Role
Major Mixed Use Development worth 3.1 Billion AED is looking to appoint a Senior Commercial Manager to be site based in Doha - Qatar. Acting as the No 2 Reporting into the Commercial Director you will be responsible for claims, variations, extensions of time, sub contract management, final accounts and management of a commercial team & contracts team.
You will have a clear experience of commercial management of large scale building projects such as Hotels, Mixed Use, Hospitals, Education & Airports. You will have a strong understanding of FIDIC contracts with exposure to projects within the Middle Eastern market for either a contractor or consultancy.
This individual will have an eye for detail, be highly organised and an all round proficient commercial manager. You will have experience of managing a multi national team of Quantity Surveyors, Contract Administrators and a Claims Manager.
The right person will be rewarded with a good monthly tax free package plus a completion bonus when the project is handed over to the client. You will need to be able to start in Doha before the 1st of October as this project has a fast track program and the role is critical at this present moment to both the JV contractor & client.
Requirements
- 3 Years experience in the International Field whether that be GCC, Africa or Asia
- Degree Educated & MRICS
- Happy to relocate to Doha before the 1st of October
- Have a proven track record with references that NSR Associates can follow up on
