Job description / Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly talented team of commercial professionals supporting our client on a large retail and hotel project at varying stages of construction.
- Acting as client point of contact on-site
- Undertaking costs analysis for work completed
- Change evaluation and tracking
- Performing risk and value management and cost control
- High quality Report Writing and presentation skills
- Advising on procurement strategy
- Identifying, analyzing and developing responses to commercial risks
- Providing advice on contractual claims
- Providing of general commercial advice to both Client and Project Managers
- Analysing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports
- Valuing completed work and arranging payments
- Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use
- Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Degree Qualified Quantity Surveying
- MRICS membership preferred
- Minimum 5 years’ experience
- Budget and cost control experience
- Retail project experience
- Pre and Post Contract Cost management Experience
- Previously worked for internationally recognised consultant or contractor
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong relationship management skills
