Senior Design Architect

Job description / Role

- Perform a variety of assignments such as conducting architectural studies, developing design concepts, design criteria and preparing high quality presentation drawings, reports and renderings
- Managing the architectural staff throughout the design development to tendering phase.
- Lead and prepare detail design and the production information including working drawings, specification and technical design reports.
- Coordination with all disciplines during the design development and production process.
- Leading the architecture team to achieve targets of submittals to the clients and authorities.
- Attending project's meetings with the owner's representative and the concerned authorities
- Design review in accordance with owner's requirements, codes, and local regulations.
- Preparing the work schedules & resources plan to meet the project targets.
- Prepare, maintain and follow up project work plan & quality plan
- Training & developing the project team members
- Provide technical guidance to Architectural Designers, Drafters and others working on the same project.

Requirements

- Degree in Architectural, with minimum 15 years of experience
- Self motivated with an excellent design background
- Experienced in transportation and infrastructure buildings including car parks and multi-disciplinary projects.
- Full architectural qualification from a well recognized institution.
- Capable of producing design and technical drawings and specification and with some experience in BIM process for the projects.
- Good knowledge of Local and International building code and regulations.
- Proficiency in CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with architectural design.
- Middle Eastern and local experience will be an advantage.
