Job description / Role
- Plans, and prepares for the Drilling and Recompletion campaigns.
- Reviews ongoing/completed technical studies and suggests improvements.
- Assistsn Drilling coordinator in planning the activities of the Field Development Drilling and REcompletion campaign.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science, majoring in Engineering in the area of Specialization from an accredited university.
- Minimum 6-8 years of work experience in Drilling Engineering and/or operations, preferably with major operating / service companies, national oil companies or major international oil companies.
- Experience in Drilling engineering, well Design, rig operations and drilling logistics management.
- Familiarity with drilling complications in different types of reservoir, especially carbonate and depleted reservoir’s in sour gas field environment.
- Fluent in written and verbal English and capable of writing Drilling Programs, reports, Deviation requests and End of Well Reports.
- Proficiency in MS Office and any of the common drilling software packages.
