Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Job description / Role

Our client is a major multi-disciplinary consultancy which has recently been awarded several new projects and as a result is looking to recruit a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join its growing team based in Doha.

Projects are varied and include hospitality, high rise, retail, residential projects and many more!

Requirements

- Degree qualified (or equivalent due to visa restrictions) in Electrical Engineering or relevant related discipline.
- Accreditation by a professional body such as CIBSE (Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineering), CEng (Chartered Engineer), RPE (Registered Professional Engineer), IEE (Institute of Electrical Engineers) is highly desirable.
- Possess a minimum of 10 years post graduate experience.
- Have a proven track record working for well reputed international multi-disciplinary Consultancies and / or Architecture & Engineering Consultancies.
- Successful candidates will have a proven track record in the design and implementation of electrical services.
- Previous experience working on large scale projects is essential.
- Previous international work experience is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills are a pre-requisite of the role.
