Senior Environmental Specialist

Job description / Role

Our client is one of the Middle east leading and most well respected engineer consultants who have offices throughout the Middle East region. They are currently looking to recruit a Senior Environmental Specialist for their office in Doha, Qatar.

As the point of contact for the Environmental team in Qatar you will be heavily involved in liaison with high profile clients and local regulators as well focusing on Business Development across the region and growing the team. You will be responsible for leading and supporting the environmental team at their head office as well as management of existing projects, document review and will be senior technical specialist for the office.

Requirements

Candidates must have a degree and must be able to demonstrate at least 15 years experience in a senior environmental role and must also have experience of major infrastructure construction projects.

Candidates must have all round experience of the construction industry and must have previously worked as a head of a team in submission of study reports on environmental impact assessment
