Senior Estimator - Infrastructure Projects in excess of AED 300 million

Senior Estimator required for Main Contractor on large Infrastructure projects

Client has an excellent reputation across major Civil Engineering projects with an impressive tender success rate. They are working on a number of large scale projects as sole main contractor.

Projects include:
* Highways,
* Water,
* Tunnelling,

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated leader and experienced Senior Estimator. Joining an established and professional team that pride themselves on the scale of projects they are bidding on and delivering. My client is looking to recruit an ambitious candidate who is prepared to make the step up and take control of a successful Estimating department, a role that offers huge job satisfaction.

As well as being a leader, the Senior Estimator will be directly involved in a number of major project bids. Ensuring the tender / bid is correctly collated then presented back to the client.

The Senior Estimator will be responsible for:
* Managing/overseeing the current team of Estimators.
* Estimating the cost of materials, time and labour to produce accurate estimates for project tenders.
* Analyse direct and indirect costs.
* Lead and be the face of tenders in excess of AED 300 million
* Providing regular reports on the progress of tenders at all stages.
* Liaise with all interfaces of the projects to gain thorough understanding of client/project requirements.
* Negotiation of contracts.
* Working to client deadlines.

Requirements

You need to have experience as a Senior Estimator and being involved with projects ranging from AED 300 million to AED 1.5 bn Civil engineering bias projects.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Civil Engineering (or other related degree) and have at least 8 years’ experience tendering for infrastructure projects across the GCC.

Must be competent with CCS software.

Experience tendering for projects in excess of AED 300 million (highways, roads, water, tunnelling etc.)

The ability to envisage projects from inception to completion.
