Senior Interline Officer - Qatar Airways - Doha

You will maximise QR fare visibility in international market and generate interline revenue through effective selection, implementation and management of Special Prorate Agreements with other airlines.

In this role you will identify and manage Special Prorate Agreement (SPA) with other airlines to spread QR fare presence in international offline markets. You will negotiate and establish best possible SPA to ensure QR publishes competitive interline fares. You will offer best possible prorates to OAL’s to ensure QR sectors are pushed for sale on their stock while making sure they don’t undercut QR fares.

You will be working closely with QR offices worldwide to understand their requirements for SPA routes with various partners worldwide. You will ensure QR ATPCO Chart 2 table for OALs is correctly updated to ensure protection of QR revenue dilution. You will monitor all SPA performance regularly to minimize adverse impact on QR revenue and ensure effective and timely communication within the team and stake holders towards optimizing the use of SPA’s.

Requirements

You should hold a Bachelor Degree or equivalent with the knowledge of international markets, fares and traffic flow patterns. You should have minimum 7 years of job related experience in an Airline Commercial department, preferably in Interline and/or pricing department, handling interline & prorate agreements with proven track record and commercial acumen.

We are looking for someone with excellent knowledge of passenger Proration, RAM (Revenue Accounting Manual) rules & procedures, IATA fares and ticketing rules. Knowledge of interline billings/settlements are essential. You should have strong influencing, negotiation, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills (both written and verbal)
