Senior Investment Accountant

Job description / Role

The Senior Investment Accountant in Qatar will re responsible to ensure that daily transactions are properly accounted for according to International Financial Reporting Standards ""IFRS"" and monthly financial statements are produced and delivered to management on time.

The Senior Investment Accountant will have the following responsibilities:
* Handling the accounts and financial records in the accounting system (Eagle).
* Perform daily cash reconciliation between the system cash report and daily bank statement.
* Verify the supporting documents of the daily financial transactions and ensure that they are properly recorded and treated in the accounting system.
* Maintain and file all necessary supporting documents of daily financial transactions.
* Prepare and deliver the monthly accounts on time.
* Efficiently participate in IMS projects "Eagle".
* Share knowledge and accounting experience with colleagues in the finance department.

Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree
* Professional Certification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA
* 6 years in Accounting with experience in Investment Accounting
