About the Business Unit:

Legal & Regulatory provides strategic, proactive, and forward-looking advice to other Business Units, the CEO, and the Board on all aspects of external contracting, internal policies, litigation, and compliance within the legal and regulatory frameworks in Qatar. Our lawyers and staff in the Legal Department counsel the Board, CxOs, and their BUs on all legal issues affecting Ooredoo. They draft and negotiate contracts internationally and locally, and advise other BUs on changes in the Qatari legal environment. They also oversee through outside counsel all litigation to which Ooredoo is a party.

About the Role:

This role is responsible for ensuring the company's interests are safeguarded at all times by advising the company on issues relating to contracts from drafting through to commercial risk limitation, and in addition to represent the company in all matters relating to contract implementation.

About You:

You should have at least

- 12 years post qualification experience dealing with commercial areas within a major law firm and / or commercial business - preferably telecommunications related
- Specific areas: Contract Law, Dispute Settlement.
- Strong English language capabilities
- Preferably US/UK qualified

Minimum Qualification:

- Bachelor degree in Law
