Senior Legal Specialist for Strategic Alliances and Loyalty Partnerships

Charterhouse is working with a leading International Aviation Company looking to hire a Senior Legal Specialist for Strategic Alliances and Loyalty Partnerships, to join their team in Qatar.

This role will include a wide range of responsibilities to direct the team to develop resources globally, ensuring compliance with the airline’s procurement, contracting, legal and financial policies. In addition, you will also be responsible to draft, review and negotiate procedures on an array of legal and compliance matters as well as Competition/Antitrust Law.

You will negotiate, draft and implement a wide variety of commercial agreements, developing strategic contracts to resolving disputes and providing legal advice and interpretations on an array of subjects.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have a strong knowledge of Competition Law, specifically within the aviation industry and in crafting competition/antitrust advice and strategic guidance - including experience involving counselling internal clients, and supporting with relevant litigation and deals.

Necessary qualities would include strong leadership, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with proven senior influencing and relationship management.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years relevant experience, and must have strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Candidates who are Common Law Qualified are encouraged to apply.
