Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Senior Manager-IT Applications will be responsible for the strategic, operational and financial initiatives for the IT department of the Bank as well as;
* Provide input to the IT Policies and Procedures for the Bank in close coordination with the acting head of IT and in strategic alignment with the overall business objective.
* Review the development and operating plans prepared by direct reports for the IT function in cooperation with the Head of IT.
* Assist to align the activities of IT Department with organization business plans and needs with the Head of IT.
* Liaise with users to identify, record and resolve technical and procedural core banking problems.
* To initiate and manage investigative and corrective activities accordingly on key bank applications.
* Assisting users with the formal definition and clarification of requirements and procedures within T24 Core Banking applications.
* Manage and Administrate and ensure the smooth running of all IT applications including ERP, T24, CRM, SWIFT systems and any other systems used in the future.
* Have experience with Temenos Core Banking Platform with exposures to the Securities business.
* Manage and control the database admin and management process including the new release, changes, and upgrade according to agreed timescales and costs.

Requirements

* Previous experience with Temenos Core Banking Platform
* Previous experience at in a similar position ideally coming from an application development/delivery background.
* Ideally experience withing private banking.
