Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Coordinate with the Heads of ICT throughout the Group (parent and all subsidiaries) and manage the ICT audit of the banking Group (including all subsidiaries).
- Plan, coordinate and perform special review of the implementation of the core banking system and any other ICT system as may be in the project plan or implemented or directed by Head of Audit.
- Plan, coordinate and deliver the integrated audits of the ICT business and other support functions, special projects, in mitigating risks.
- Plan, coordinate and deliver the audit of the entire Personal Banking Business
- Plan, coordinate and deliver the audit of the Ops Risk Management focusing on the IT aspects..
- Provide critical and proactive support to the Audit Management in the achievement of audit objectives, and the performance of audits for business lines and corporate processes.
- Perform the audits/special reviews of Alternate Channels, Contact Centre, SWIFT, physical & ICT Security, and Business Continuity Management. Proactively assess Branch readiness; responsibility also includes any other areas as may be directed by the Group Head of Internal Audit.
- Ensure proactive resolution of control issues in a manner consistent with corporate goals, strategies and values, professional auditing standards and best practices.
- Responsible for Electronic Audit Work Papers administration and related work, the department’s ICT library, tracking and updating with latest issues of professional pronouncements on banking, regulatory, best practices.
- Responsible for TeamMate upgrade and implementation throughout the Group.

Requirements

- Degree in Information Technology from a recognized university with professional audit certification CIA/CISA.
- Additional IT security certification CISSP/CISM or business education BBA/MBA will be considered advantageous.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant ICT audit or related exposure in a major bank or leading audit firm of which at least 5 years in audit managerial capacity with exposure to core banking system.

Technical Skills:
- Be a specialist ICT Auditor, a self- starter, able to execute audit plan individually or as a team leader.
- Technically proficient with strong knowledge of ICT audit methodologies and related standards.
- Conversant with corporate, treasury and retail lending products and the related processes and controls, network environment and various audit software tools.
- Good Knowledge of Basel-II/III Credit Risk, will be an advantage.
