About the Business Unit:

The Technology Unit within Ooredoo is the backbone of the organization providing all technology services which enable Ooredoo to deliver its services to its customers across all technology platforms, 24/7/365. The Software division within Technology is responsible for technical design, platform implementation, modification and application support including new products and change requests for IT applications. The BSS & OSS department manages the technical design, platform implementation, modification and application support including new products and change requests for all BSS & OSS applications and platforms.

This role will be responsible for OSS and Order Management platforms implementation and application support.

About You:

You should have at least:

-Minimum Experience, Essential Knowledge & Skills
- 10 years' of work experience with minimum 8 years of qualified experience on the requested role of OSS Manager with proven track record demonstrating thought leadership and ability to define and implement complex information technology and/or digital transformation initiatives within the OSS Domain
- Significant experience in working in the Telecommunications Industry, demonstrating solid understanding of Telecom Business Models, Operating Environments and Processes across Technology, Sales, Marketing, Customer Care, Finance, Regulatory and Legal and Telecom OSS/BSS Information Technology and Software Systems
- Ability to demonstrate subject matter expert level expertise in the area of OSS including but not limited to following areas:
- Team Management
- Telecom and IT Operating Model and Processes
- Business and Technology Strategy, Planning and Budgeting
- Business and Information Systems Design
- Business Transformation and Organizational Change Management
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, managerial, team work, negotiation, logical analysis, stakeholder and risk management skills
- Excellent oral and written communications in English is a must, Arabic is considered a plus
- Good understanding on Information Technology, IT Systems, IT Processes and Practices to fluently liaise between Business and Technology and effectively carry out Technology OSS related work
- Good working knowledge and past experience on Program/Project Management practices, Team Leading, Vendor Management, Contract Management and Software Development Lifecycle including Design Thinking and Agile Practices and Methodologies
- Good working knowledge and preferably certifications of one or more relevant Frameworks, Standards, Models and Practices related to Telecom Industry and Role, not limited to TOGAF, ITIL, PMP/ PMI/PRINCE2, SIG SIGMA, COBIT, SCRUM, SDLC, TM Forum, ETSI and 3GPP.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to work both independently as well as with others
- Ability to work in dynamic and challenging environment and support to manage multiple parallel complex initiatives
- Ability to be structured, organized and have strong time-management skills with proven track record on delivering results
- Ability think out of the box, to Innovative and be creative thinker
- Cultural awareness and past experience working in Middle-East and/or in Qatar and understanding of Middle-East/Qatar market dynamics is considered a plus

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

- Minimum requirement is a Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- IT Industrial Certifications or Post Graduation on a relevant stream of study preferred.
