Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job description / Role

KEO International Consultants is a highly ranked and award winning planning, architecture, engineering and project and construction management firm with offices in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Bahrain, Dubai, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

We are looking for qualified candidates who will be required to demonstrate experience in the following:
- Strong technical understanding and design leadership is essential in all aspects of design including production, construction techniques, procedures, codes and standards etc that relate to Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong team leadership with good soft-people skills essential in communicating directly with clients, consultants, agencies, local authorities, the design review team and other KEO staff.
- Strong time management and organizational skill is required to effectively manage multiple projects across multiple countries and ensure each design review is carried out within the required time constraints and meets the expected quality of output

Requirements

- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 15 years; Design review experience 10 years, Management experience 3-7 years.
- Professional registration with a well recognized Mechanical Engineers Society or equivalent professional body ; having a Qatar Engineer Committee accreditation is advantage.
- Strong technical understanding and design leadership is essential in all aspects of design including production, construction techniques, procedures, codes and standards etc that relate to Mechanical Engineering Systems.
- Strong ability to coordinate effectively with all design reviewers in other disciplines is essential.
