Senior Project Director

Job description / Role

Exciting opportunity to take the lead role on a major project which is mixed build and infrastructure and technically very challenging with a major systems component to it. The successful candidate will have previous experience on technically challenging projects such as airports or ports.

Experienced Project Director with extensive Port or Airport project experience. The successful candidate will have completed mega projects from beginning to end. You will be capable of dealing with complex projects that are also highly political and have excellent client facing skills. The ideal background will be someone that has worked with a major international contractor or consultants with an excellent background in Project Management.

You will be a team player with the ability to manage others, be an exceptional multitasker and have natural time management skills. You will have excellent client and contractor management skills. You must be able to use your own initiative, be degree qualified and be fluent in written and spoken English. You will be a talented individual who wants to be part of a world leading Blue Chip international company working on high profile projects.

Requirements

* Degree Qualified
* Programme Management experience for major multi-faceted construction projects
* Either Airport or Port experience
* Strong knowledge of high level security systems
* Excellent experience in delivering technically challenging mega projects whereby systems is a large component
* Previous Middle East experience ideal
* Ability to both lead projects and develop business through strong client relationships
* Stable track record working for international companies
