WSP are looking for a Project/Programme Director with significant experience in the successful delivery of complex and demanding multidisciplinary buildings projects. The role will require strong capabilities in project leadership and management, stakeholder management, and multi geography design delivery.
A typical week would include:
The key objectives of the role will be to;-
* Provide leadership to guide the team of managers to deliver the services needed
* Agree the scope of services with the Client and approve the Project Delivery Manual
* Prepare and implement the Project Implementation Plan (PIP), Organisation Chart and Delegations and Authorities Matrix
* Provide the main point of contact for the Client and other project stakeholders
* Approve the Project Strategic Planning for Work Breakdown, Cost Breakdown, logistics and procurement
* Approve and control the Program Master Integrated Schedule, Project Key dates and Milestones
* Plan resources and make sure that they are available to deliver the services needed
* Oversee the management of the Design, Procurement/Commercial, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE), Quality, Planning, Risk, IT, Document Control/Records Management, Construction, Commissioning and Handover and Closeout
* Approve the coordination and interfacing of stakeholder and project information
* Build effective teams and provide support to staff assigned to the project.

In order to meet the challenge, you will have the following skills and experience;-
* Should be a Chartered Engineer
* Minimum 20 years of experience in Project Management and managing teams
* Experience in the management and control of large scale of projects, particularly, infrastructure development such as high rise buildings etc
* Good communication and leadership skills.
* Member of a professional institution.
