Senior Project Engineer - Transportation

KEO International Consultants is a highly ranked and award winning planning, architecture, engineering and project and construction management firm with offices in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Bahrain, Dubai, Jordan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Project Engineer - Transportation to join a team of professionals in our rapidly expanding Infrastructure Division.

Requirements

- Preparation of Access and Circulation Studies, Transportation Impact Studies and Transportation Master Plans
- Familiarity with approving authority TIS standards especially Abu Dhabi DOT, Dubai RTA, Muscat Municipality and Jeddah Municipality
- Mentoring junior staff members
- Responding to requests for proposals - technical approach and financials.
- Development and interrogation of strategic
- Using SYNCHRO, Sidra and HCS to assess intersection operation and develop improvement measures
- Analysis of parking layouts including supply and demand calculations
- Preparation and delivery of presentations to Clients and Approving Authorities

You will have a demonstrated experience in preparing a wide range of Transportation Impact Studies across the Gulf Region along with the following skills:
- Excellent report writing skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to innovatively solve a wide range of transportation problems
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Mentoring junior staff
- Extensive experience using Cube, VISUM, VISSIM, TransCAD, SYNCHRO, Sidra and/or HCS
- Ability to use Microsoft office including Powerpoint and Project
- You will have worked as part of a multidisciplinary team providing transportation advice and solutions on large scale developments.
- As part of your work you will have developed technical proposals for a range of different developments and schemes.
- You will have a degree in transportation or civil engineering with at least 8 years experience in a consultancy environment of which at least 3 were spent working on Gulf region projects. You will be a member of a transportation professional institution and working towards professional accreditation of either IEng, CEng or P.E.
