Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Senior management level responsibility for Quality Assurance efforts on a project with responsibility of managing to established Project policy requirements and TPQ quality guidelines. Acts as direct point of contact with for all QA/QC with construction vendors, contractors, tenants, and all stakeholders.

Will provide leadership and technical expertise and primarily manage in-house relationships with other departments examples (construction management, estimating, scheduling, show ride installation and integration ,etc.).

Detailed Roles and Responsibilities:
- Practical / Technical knowledge: relates to the depth and scope of knowledge required.
- Manage the Quality Assurance/Quality Control Management System for construction efforts on project through installation.
- Manage the coordination of quality inspections with all site General Contractors and Vendors.
- Review the coordination of all non-destructive testing onsite.
- Coordinate with all Show and Ride representatives on all quality matters. Act as direct point of contact to all construction vendors and contractors.
- Manage the distribution of relevant QA/QC documentation to all team members and document control archiving.
- Manage the verification of quality related site activities to make sure they are in accordance with the applicable codes and Disney Standards..
- Participate in the site internal and external site audits of Quality Assurance.
- Manage the coordination of all the quality site inspections through the Site QA specialists.
- Audit quality control documentation to ensure that it is complied and completed for as-built documentation thru the QA specialists.
- Manage the control of all non-conformance reporting and undertaking of remedial action. Deficiency Notices and Non-Conformance notices are the same notices.
- Manage the complete site Quality Assurance instructions and actionable remedial responses from the Contractors or Vendors.
- Reviews and approves contract application for payment by Third party Testing and Inspection agencies and Engineering Surveying companies.
- Administers change orders to the Third party Testing and Surveying companies through the project manager.
- Manage the review and undertaking of relevant training for QA managers for site inspections.
- Manage the monitoring of implementation of the approved QA/QC plans by the Contractors and Vendors.
- Manage the coordination of the Site QA managers on all quality issues.
- Coordinate and Chair the QA/QC site weekly meetings with the Contractors and Vendors.
- Elaborate on inspection and testing programs during the approval process.
- Coordinates with other UDC and TPQ departments and personnel.
- Ensure the safety of the Project is adhered to at site.
- Management of direct reports to include performance reviews, performance counseling, talent development etc.
- Assure all technical documents relative to Site Quality Assurance are current.
- Interfaces with TPQ Senior Executives.
- Adherence to all personnel policies and company handbooks.

Requirements

- 3+ Years job related experience (5years projects management/coordination experience) strongly desired.
- Proven experience managing the Quality Assurance and Quality Control for the construction process and documentation.
- Ability to lead the project team, be the team leader.
- Ability to manage through conflict, complexity and to problem-solve issues to resolution.
- Experience in the contract administration process.
- Ability to understand the needs of the client and to manage relationships between the owner/operator.
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, E-Mail).
- Ability to comfortably communicate, both verbally in presentation and conversation, and written in correspondence to project team, vendors, consultants and other TPQ partner.
- Ability to give direction, adapt to change, establish relationships, and work in a team environment.
