Job description / Role
Client is a large international main contractor working on the largest mixed use development project in Doha, Qatar valued at around 2$ Billion.
They are currently in need of either British or South African senior Quantity surveyors, this is due to the visa allocation they have been granted by the interior ministry of Qatar.
Requirements
- Handful experience in Post contract works
- Experience in managing the Subcontractor’s packages
- Dealing with day to day Subcontractors correspondences
- Good knowledge and experience in Claims & Variations
- Ideally should be from a Building project, with Tier 1 Main Contractor’s experience in GCC
- All-inclusive take home Salary approx. QAR 45,000.00 [Maximum]
- Preferably Degree holder/ MRICS
Required Nationality: South African/ British
Total Experience: 7 – 15 years
Office working: 6-days a week + 2 Saturdays off in the JV office;
Annual Leaves: 21 calendar days
Air Tickets: Economy class to home country, after end of one year of employment
Medical Insurance: Insurance provided in Qatar
Probation Period: 6-months
Terminal Benefits: As per Qatar Labour Laws
