Job description / Role
A well respected International EPC main contractor is currently looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Senior Contract Administrator for a major building project (400M USD) in Doha, Qatar.
Supporting the project Commercial Manager you will be responsible for all QS and contractual matters related to the execution of the construction contract including but not limited to claims, variation orders etc.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience of claims management; evaluating and reporting valid claims, negotiating and settling claims with the client, assessing liabilities for delays with planners. you will have a proven track record in the preparation of extensive EOT claims including disruption, acceleration, etc verifying with associated prolongation cost.
Requirements
- B.S. in Engineering Degree required, LLM or MSc in Construction Law preferred.
- Minimum 20 year experience in commercial/contract management.
- Specially over 10 year in the Middle East desired.
- Chartered Membership preferred.
- Should have EOT Claim experience in major projects.
- Exceptional written and spoken skill for English & Arabic.
